I immediately took it to pep boys since I figured it was some issue with the battery. They diagnosed it, replaced the battery, and they also did the extra $10 battery service that Pep Boys provides free of charge. The assistant manager at the Rancho Del Ray Pep Boys in Chula Vista, CA told me that the old battery tested bad but they couldn't tell what happened. I am hoping that I just got a bad battery and have no other problems with this battery.
